I was inspired to summarize my thought patterns to keep my self-esteem up after a conversation in Skype in which my friends described the (unintentionally perhaps) hurtful things their relatives told them. To expand on the 4th page about reframing your mental perspective, I’d like to give you some resources to cognitive restructuring. It is the single most useful coping mechanism I learned in therapy. Here is a lovely summary and explanation, and this is a walkthrough of a written exercise to help you know how to start.
